Hotel Aldi is the picture perfect hotel for any traveller on any budget. Ideally located 2 km from Prishtina city centre and bus station, with an ATM machine right across the main road, resturants and local shops literally on the corner, the location is nigh to unbeatable.

The hotel itself is visibly well cared for and highly maintained (giving it a healthy, optimistic and happy appearance), with a small yet devoted and commited staff who remind guests ”any questions then just ask”!
The garden, bar, dining room, lobby, landings and rooms are all highly decorated and immaculately clean, with TV, hot-water showers, large spacious cupboards and double glazing….furthermore, the hotel intends to expand itself to accomodate more rooms which promise to be as impressive as the rest of the hotel.

The staff are incredibly resourceful, approachable, relaxed and go out of their way to make you feel right at home. I have rarely experienced such excellent and caring customer service, and that’s coming from someone who’s travelled as much as Marco Polo ever did!

The price is also astoundingly reasonable. For a double room for two nights it is only 92 euros (about £70) which is less than half of what you’d expect to pay for a single night in a London hotel.

So whether you’re in Prishtina for business or pleasure, Hotel Aldi is the picture perfect hotel to meet any needs of the traveller.

Hotel Aldi exceeded all my hopes and expectations in a hotel; The place has not been open for too long but nevertheless, it is certainly one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hotels I have ever stayed in, and that’s coming from someone who has travelled extensively in three continents.

Hotel Aldi is located 2 miles out of Prishtina city centre, just off the main inter city road. Nearby is a bus station which takes passengers directly to the city centre or the city’s main bus station. Yet behind the main road, Hotel Aldi is set in a serene and pleasant field environment where if one takes a walk around the hotel’s immediate surroundings, one is struck by the laid back and peaceful feelings.

The hotel itself is immaculately kept. It’s kept spotlessly clean, is warmly decorated in the halls and corridors with ornate decorations, the small garden is clearly lovingly tended to with garden decorations and fresh, green grass, the rooms are spacious and well maintained with double glazing windows, 4 hours of hot water, TV, comfortable matresses and en suite bathroom.
A double room was the equivalent price to what one would expect in a 2 star central London hotel.

Added to, the management are friendly, supportive and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and that if you need anything at all ”just say so”.
The manager himself arranged to collect me from the airport when I arrived and drove me to Aldi instead of having to flag down a bus or taxi, a gesture which I was genuinely touched by.

As I write this, Hotel Aldi is currently renovating for more rooms to be built, with an elevator accessing all floors too.
It is apparent that so much effort has gone into making Hotel Aldi a beautiful place to stay, and the efforts have certainly paid off.

I ve been in Hotel Aldi @ November 2010 for 6 nights, Its quite close to the city and far enough from the mess of the city, just the one of the best places I waited from a hotel to be. Mr. Albert Mr. Dimal and the faimily really created a wonderful ambiance for the visitors. I had gone there for a bussiness trip and I had good friends in Kosova. The staff is %100 trustable, just leave the keys at the reception and do not think of nothing… I felt like I am at my home. And the prices are quite adequate. You do not feel robbed. I strongly advise Aldi for everyone visiting Prishtina…

Stayed in the hotel in August 2010. The hotel was fantastic. Albert and Dimal and their mother and father went out of their way to make sure that my stay was first class. Tea on the patio in their company is something that I will never forget. Hope to go to Kosovo again in 2011.
